A continuous process for reducing DAF skimmings with Alfa Laval decanter centrifuge at the heart of the process.
 
 
ContiJuice is a frame-mounted, modular continuous juice extraction system designed for use in the wine-making industry, where extremely efficient, reliable operation is vital during the short harvest period.

This specialist module is used as part of the extraction process, between initial preparation of the picked grapes and further processing.
It is a complete, space-saving solution with all the equipment required, and provides very high yields compared to well-known mechanical extraction systems.
It also helps ensure there are only minimal suspended solids left in the grape mash, so no additional clarification is needed.
 
Each module includes a reception tank with stirrer, a volumetric pump between the buffer tank and the Foodec decanter centrifuge, a juice reception tank with centrifugal pump, and a conveyor for solids exit.
The module also features CIP connections for all parts in contact with the incoming product.

All electrical motors are equipped with a frequency converter to ensure the best possible performance.

The range currently consists of ContiJuice 200 and ContiJuice 300 modules.
 
The ContiJuice module is designed to be multifunctional.
It can be also used in :

- recovering young wine from tank bottoms
- must clarification after the wine press
- thermovinification
- removing juice from flotation residuals in a range of winery processes.
