The FOX 15 is a high-speed disc stack nozzle centrifuge installation that combines high solids handling capabilities with the exceptional separation performance provided by disc stack centrifuge technology.

Slop oil usually consists of complex emulsions of oil and water, along with substantial quantities of abrasive solids and other particles.
The FOX 15 slop oil treatment nozzle centrifuge was developed specifically to meet oil and gas industry needs for separating these complex mixtures. It can deal with substantial variations in feed composition and still provide treated oil with a water content as low as 0.1–1.0%.

A FOX 15 unit provides a robust, compact installation that automatically removes solids and water at the same time, and with remarkable efficiency.
This helps make it possible to achieve better specifications and to increase the commercial value of the final product.

A FOX 15 unit is a complete, modular installation that consists of an Alfa Laval disc stack nozzle centrifuge, drive motor, collection tanks for oil and water/sediment, export pumps, sample points, all necessary instrumentation and control panel.
These are pre-assembled and comply with hazardous area Zone 1/Class 1 Div 1 specifications. Additional optional equipment and fittings are available.

The design has only a small number of moving parts, and is built to withstand abrasion caused by any solids present in the slop oil. This ensures both a minimum of maintenance and low operating costs.

FOX 15 installations can process as much as 15,000 l/h of slop oil consisting of any blend of emulsified oil and water, with up to 2,000 l/h of solids content being removed on a continuous basis.
This makes the FOX 15 a very cost-effective approach to slop oil treatment.
